Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

Orange in the Dubai sun

The orange Chevrolet Corvette Convertible makes sense when the plan includes a camera. Its colour reads clearly in bright daylight, while the open-top shape gives a photo or film shoot a strong outline from almost any angle. It is just as fitting for a birthday drive that begins with a hotel valet and ends with dinner by the water.

On the road, the V8 gives it an immediate, muscular feel, but the automatic transmission makes Downtown traffic less of a chore. Take speed bumps slowly and allow a little extra room when parking: this is a low sports car, not a car to rush through tight spaces.

A route worth taking

This Corvette suits two people who want the drive to be part of the day. An evening run along Jumeirah Beach Road feels more natural than using it for a busy airport transfer, and an Al Qudra drive gives you room to settle in and enjoy the car away from the busiest streets. If you are choosing a car for a shoot, allow time to find a suitable stopping place rather than treating the roadside as a set.

It has 2 seats and 2 doors, so it is best for a couple or a solo driver. The specification is a 6.2L V8 petrol engine producing 495 hp, paired with an automatic transmission.
