Mercedes-Benz G63 Keyvany

A G63 with presence

The grey Mercedes-Benz G63 Keyvany is a large, upright SUV that feels quite different from a low-slung luxury car. Its elevated seating position gives you a clear view through Downtown traffic, while the twin-turbo V8 brings an unmistakable sense of strength when the road opens up. On Sheikh Zayed Road it feels settled in its own lane; around the Marina, its size calls for a little more thought when parking or negotiating tight entrances.

It has the sort of presence that works at a hotel valet without needing a dramatic arrival. Take speed bumps gently, allow room in narrow car parks, and enjoy the commanding view rather than treating it like a sports car.

Where it fits in Dubai

This is a good choice for a wedding arrival, a business visit where the car matters, or a photo shoot that needs a recognisable SUV silhouette. It also suits a family or group travelling together: there are five seats and five doors, so everyone has their own place and getting in and out is straightforward.

For a relaxed outing, take it along Jumeirah Beach Road or around the Palm. An Abu Dhabi day trip is well within the kind of UAE driving this car suits, particularly if you value cabin space and a higher seating position.
