Ferrari SF90 Stradale

Black, without the fuss

Black gives the Ferrari SF90 Stradale a quieter presence than you might expect from such an exotic coupe, though its shape is unmistakable at a hotel entrance. It works particularly well for a photo shoot where the car should look striking without competing with everything else in the frame.

On the road, the SF90 feels alert and immediate. The automatic transmission takes the work out of Downtown traffic, but this is still a low Ferrari that rewards a careful approach to speed bumps, steep car-park ramps and tight parking spaces.

The right sort of outing

This is a good choice for a birthday, a special evening out or a drive along Jumeirah Beach Road when the journey matters as much as the destination. It also makes sense for a short film or photography booking: the black finish gives a clean, dramatic look under different lighting.

For a longer drive, take the main roads towards Abu Dhabi and allow time for stops. The SF90 is more engaging from behind the wheel than it is practical for luggage, so it is best chosen when you can travel light.

What you’re booking

The SF90 Stradale is a two-door coupe with two seats, an automatic transmission and a 4.0L V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain producing 986 hp. It is listed as a hybrid. Those figures tell you plenty about its performance, but its appeal in Dubai is also the sense of occasion it brings to an ordinary stretch of road.
