Salik toll gates
Dubai uses an electronic toll system called Salik. Gates on main roads read a tag in the car automatically, so there is nothing to pay on the spot. Tolls collected during your rental are added after the car is returned.

Traffic fines
Speed and traffic cameras are common. Any fine issued during your rental is the driver's responsibility and is passed on after the rental. With us there is no security deposit; fines are settled after the car is returned.
Simple ways to avoid fines
- Follow the posted limit, not the traffic around you.
- Keep clear of bus and taxi lanes where marked.
- Park only in paid or permitted bays and pay for the full time.
